Getting Started
Beginning therapy can be a daunting task. Sometimes making that first phone call or hitting “send” is the biggest hurdle. You can leave me a voicemail or send me a brief message through my contact page and let me know when I can best reach you. I do my best to respond within 24 hours. Once we are able to find a few minutes to connect, I will try to get a better understanding of what you are looking for in order to see if I may be the right person to help. If so, we can set up an initial intake appointment. I will email you forms for you to complete and bring to the first session.
The First Appointment
One of the most important factors for a successful therapy outcome is the connection between the client and therapist. During the first appointment, you will get the opportunity to see if you feel comfortable talking with me and we can determine if I might be the best person to help you at this time. If I feel as though someone else may be able to help you more effectively, I will give you the contact information for another provider.
